#NewhamRising – The Evaluation (2020)

This project was successful in securing a grant from the Home office Anti Knife Crime Community Fund in November 2019. The focus was to deliver an art based programmed concerning the impact of knife crime to young people ‘at risk’ of being affected by knife crime in Newham, East London.

Ape Media has been delivering interventions to young people for 15 years and has extensive expertise in working with vulnerable young people aged 10 – 24 years both in the community, and nationally. They have worked with thousands of young people across Newham who face disadvantage including being excluded from school, those with mental health problems and involvement with the Criminal Justice System.
