But across the UK, the grassroots organisations making that possible are in crisis. 💔

Last year, Rescue the Roots raised and matched £1 million, unlocking £2 million for grassroots youth music projects and supporting an estimated 18,000 young people so far. 🙌

But the crisis isn’t over.

New survey findings reveal:

⚠️ 37% of grassroots organisations are considering closure due to financial pressure
📉 Nearly 40% expect their financial situation to worsen within the next year
🎧 More than two-thirds report significant unmet demand for their services
🧒 An estimated 33,500 young people are currently on waiting lists

Without urgent support, thousands of young people could lose access to safe spaces, creative opportunities and vital support through music. 🎵
